PU Fall Admission 2020:University Of The Punjab: Applications are invited for Online Admission in MS/M.Phil/M.Sc.(Engg/Hons)/M.Com/MBA (1.5 Years) and Ph.D. Programs Fall Semester 2020(Regular/Self Supporting).

3.      Interview Of Successful Candidates In GRE Based Written Test:16-12-2020 To 22-12-2020

4.     Display of General Merit List & 1st Merit List:28-12-2020

5.      Last Date Of Depositing Fee:30-12-2020

6.     Display of 2nd Merit List:31-12-2020

7.      Last Date Of Depositing Fee:04-01-2021

8.      Display of 3rd Merit List:05-01-2021

9.     Last Date Of Depositing Fee:07-01-2021

10.  Display of Final Merit List:08-01-2021

11.     Last Date Of Depositing Fee:11-01-2021

12.   Admission Closed:11-01-2021

13.   Commencement of Classes:18-01-2021

Eligibility For MS/M.Phil/M.Sc.(Engg/Hons)/M.Com/MBA (1.5 Years)

 

MA/M.Sc./BS (Hons.) 4 years /B.Com (Hons.) 4 years / BBA (Hons.) 4 years /B.Sc. (Engg) degree or  its equivalent in the relevant subject from a HEC recognized University (At least 16 years of education: 130 credit hours) as per Higher Education Commission (HEC) rules

 

Eligibility For Ph.D.

 

MS/M.Phil. /M.Sc. (Engg/Hons.) or equivalent degree with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0/70% OPM /First Division as per HEC rules.

 

 

Note:

 

(1)The candidates must have to qualify the written test with 50% marks for M.Phil and 70% for PhD.

(2)HEC awardees under indigenous scholarship scheme are encouraged to apply

(3) The candidate must obtain greater than 19.1 out of 40 marks in academic merit (merit formula table and regulations is available at www.pu.edu.pk/dpcc) to be eligible for taking written test.

(4)Interview must be qualified with 50% marks.

(5)All admission rules regarding MS/M.Phil. /M.Sc. (Engg./Hons) /M.Com(1.5) /MBA(1.57 Ph.D in Admission Regulations Book, PU will be applicable, can be obtained from the respective Department / Institute / Centre /College / School. For further information, please contact the respective Department / Institute/Centre/ College / School.

(6)Processing and examination fee i.e. Rs.500/- must be deposited online Bank challan form generated during application submission

 

Important Instructions 

 

(1)Candidate in Job should provide NOC from his/her employer till date of Interview. Candidates who failed to submit will not be including in merit list.

(2)If last degree of the candidate is from other than Punjab University, Equivalence certificate from PU equivalence cell must also be submitted till date of interview. Candidates who failed to submit will not be included in merit list.

Online Forms are available at http://admissions.pu.edu.pk, http://111.68.103.22/admissions w.e.f. 16-11-2020. The candidate will submit his/her online form along with scanned copies of academic certificate upto 27-11-2020 and the Written Test/Interview will be held in the concerned department (by observing all Covid-19 SOPs) at the time given by them according to the schedule given below in the advertisement: *Only for Pharmacy candidate online forms are available at admissionpucp.edu.pk.
